Do you know what food makes for a yummy breakfast? It's hard boiled eggs. They are so easy to make. I will show you how.

First, you will need to gather all your materials. You will need one dozen eggs, a pot with a lid, and a stove.

Next, carefully place the eggs into the bottom of the pot. Be careful that they don't crack. That would make a BIG mess.

Make sure your pot is big enough to hold all the eggs. They should sit at the bottom of the pot. Try not to stack them.

Then, put the pot in the sink and fill it with water. Make sure the water covers all the eggs.

After that, place the pot on the stove.

Now, turn the burner to medium heat. You will need to watch the water carefully.

Wait for the water to come to a boil. Once the water starts to boil, immediately turn off the heat. If you let the eggs boil too long they might crack.

Next, remove the pan from the heat and cover the eggs. They will continue to cook in the hot water.

Set the timer for ten minutes. Let the eggs sit in the covered pan for that time.

After 10 minutes have passed, remove the pan from the stove. Dump out the hot water and replace it with cold water. You can even add ice cubes if you want. Let the eggs sit until they are cool.

Take the eggs out of the water and use a towel to dry them throughly.

Next, using the edge of the counter, gently tap the egg several times. You want to put a crack on all sides of the egg.

Now you can peel off the shell and throw it into the trash can. You may want to wash the egg to make sure got all the pieces.

Finally, you can add some salt to taste.

I hope you learned a lot about making hard boiled eggs. Now it's your turn to try making some. Bon appetite!
